The new five-judge bench is headed by Chief Justice S.A. Bobde and comprises Justices Ashok Bhushan, S.A. Nazeer, D.Y. Chandrachud and Sanjiv Khanna. The Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha sought cancellation of the five-acre plot to Sunni Waqf Board for building a mosque in Ayodhya.
