Rescue operation underway in Madhya Pradesh's Vidisha, CM declares ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh

In a horrific incident that took place in Madhya Pradesh's Vidisha, four bodies have been recovered so far. the incident happened when a crowd gathered near the wall of the well to rescue the child who drowned in the well. But due to the increasing pressure of the crowd standing around the well, its wall collapsed that led to dozens of people fell into it. Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh each for the next of the kin of the deceased, and a compensation of Rs 50,000 each to those injured.
