India leads the way as an AI frontrunner, with 70 per cent of companies having AI projects either operational or underway, significantly higher than the global average of 49 per cent.

The term artificial intelligence (AI) was coined back in the 1950s when the interest in AI really came to a head after the publishing of Alan Turing's work “Computer Machinery and Intelligence.” From then to now, AI has evolved significantly. The growth has been probably the most noticeable in the past ten years.
