New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party national convener and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on Monday said that if his party is voted to form a government, they will make Uttarakhand an international spiritual capital for Hindus.

According to him, it will enhance the tourism sector extensively in the state providing employment to the youth. Kejriwal was speaking in Haridwar. He said, “We will make Uttarakhand an international spiritual capital for Hindus. This will enhance tourism extensively, we hope that it will provide employment to thousands of youth here.”

During his visit to Uttarakhand, Kejriwal addressed a press conference and provided a 10-pointer agenda for the state if his party is voted to power. He said that this is a brief of their manifesto. The detailed party manifesto will be declared soon by other members of the party.

He asserted that AAP will remove corruption from Uttarakhand as the party has zero-tolerance towards corruption. He went on to accuse BJP and Congress of having ruled Uttarakhand for the past 21 years and still not being able to reduce corruption as they had malicious intentions.

Then he said that his party will provide 24-hour electricity to the state just like they did in Delhi. He also added that only his party knows how to provide employment to the people. AAP made it happen in Delhi and will make it happen in Uttarakhand as well without any kind of corruption.

There will also be an unemployment allowance for the youth of the state. As a part of his manifesto, he said that all women above the age of 18 years will be given Rs 1,000 every month for her expenses.

He further talked about improving the schools in the state. He said that like they improved schools and education in Delhi, they will do the same in Uttarakhand. They will provide free education to the students.

He also talked about the healthcare system saying that the ‘Mohalla Clinic’ model will be implemented in Uttarakhand with free and quality healthcare services.

In his 10-pointer, he said that every individual from the security forces, if killed in the line of duty, will be given an amount of Rs 1 crore. The model already prevails in Delhi and will be replicated in Uttarakhand. He also promised free electricity in Uttarakhand like Delhi.

He asserted many times that to know if AAP is worth it, one should call the people of Delhi and ask them.

Uttarakhand will go to the polls on February 14, and the result will be declared on March 10.
