UPTET Exam 2021: After a lot of uncertainty, the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) might get scheduled in January end, as per the latest information. The UPTET was earlier scheduled to be held on November 28 but was postponed due to a paper leak. A large number of students faced problems due to the postponement of this exam. 


Since then, there have been reports about the new exam date, but nothing has been confirmed. However, the Board will soon publish the final information in this regard.


This time, extra precautions will be taken during the UPTET examination. According to media reports, many things will be changed like the exam centre and the issuing of the new admit cards. Old admit cards are no longer valid and thus new admit cards will be issued.


Exam Centres To Be Changed In Many Districts -


Candidates will be issued new admit cards shortly before the exam. They will also be informed about the change in exam centres in some districts. A meeting in this regard was held recently, which was attended by Secretary Anil Bhushan Chaturvedi. The report said that Non-aided schools, secondary schools, CBSE and ICSE schools, degree colleges and universities can be converted into exam centres. For this exam, the paper will be prepared and set by experts. Because of other preparations, it will not be possible to conduct the exam in December. Thus, the exam may be held after the second week of January.


Number Of Registration -


Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test is a major exam in UP. Around 20 lakh students have registered for this year's exam. The exam was supposed to be conducted in 75 districts of UP but it was cancelled as the paper was leaked. It was later revealed that the question paper was leaked through WhatsApp and circulated on different WhatsApp groups.
