New Delhi: Uttar Prdaesh Assembly elections are just round the corner. Ahead of the Uttar Pradesh polls, election strategist Prashant Kishor, in an interview said that whatever be the outcome in the elections, it cannot be said that it will have a direct impact on the Lok Sabha elections in 2024.
Although some people think that the result of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections will set the tone for the Lok Sabha polls in 2024, that might not be the case, Prashant Kishor said.
Polarisation will have boundaries in elections
When asked that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is known for propogating staunch Hindutva agenda and how will polarisation take place here, Prashant Kishore said that polarization in the state will have boundaries.

Prashant Kishore further said, "In 2012, the Bharatiya Janata Party was at number three or number four in Uttar Pradesh. The Samajwadi Party won the state elections, but it had no effect on the general elections of 2014 .''
"The Uttar Praesh elections in 2022 are not the semi-finals for the Lok Sabha polls in 2024," Prashant Kishor further said, adding, "there are going to be elections in many other states before 2024.''
