New Delhi: As the Bharatiya Janata Party gained majority in Uttar Pradesh Assembly as per the latest trends, BJP senior member and candidate from Sirathu seat, Keshan Prasad Maurya took jibe at Samajwadi Party. 


Taking to Twitter, Keshav Prasad Maurya wrote, "Public is winning, hooliganism is losing." 


 



As per the latest trends, Maurya is leading from his Sirathu seat against Pallavi Patel. The BJP has crossed the halfway mark and is leading in Uttar Pradesh on 243 seats. While Akhilesh Yadav-led Samajwadi Party is at 111 seats, Bahujan Samaj Party At 5, Cogress at 6 and Others at 0.

All the contesting ministers in the current Uttar Pradesh Government cabinet including Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are leading on their seats. From the Opposition, Akhilesh Yadav is leading from Karhal seat, Azam Khan is leading from Rampur seat. 


While the counting is underway, Akhilesh Yadav too took to Twitter and wrote that "Sepoys of democracy' return only with a certificate of victory!"


:The test is yet to be done Time has come now for 'decisions' Heartfelt thanks to each and every worker, supporter, leader, office bearer and well wisher of SP-gathbandhan for being alert and consciously active day and night at the counting centers! 'Sepoys of democracy' return only with a certificate of victory!," wrote the SP chief. 


Meanwhile, in Punjab, Aam Aadmi Party is leading with 89 seats and BJP is leading in Manipur with 25 seats, in Uttarakhand with 46 seats, and in Goa on 18 seats.
