UP Assembly Election 2022: The announcement for Uttar Pradesh assembly election is likely to be done in the next two weeks. Hence, BJP is continuously strategising to be able to attract various communities. BJP leaders have been brainstorming in Delhi for two days on how the party can woo the Brahmin community. BJP is formulating a special strategy to convey its work and earn votes among Brahmins.

In Uttar Pradesh, the BJP has constituted a four-member committee headed by Rajya Sabha MP and former Minister of State for Finance Shiv Pratap Shukla to attract the Brahmin community. Dr. Mahesh Sharma, MP from Gautam Budh Nagar, Abhijat Mishra, Former National General Secretary of Bhajumo, and Ram Bhai Mukaria, MP from Gujarat have been made part of it. The committee will work on how the Brahmin community can be focused upon during elections in UP. It will oversee duties to be given to Brahmin leaders in the party.

Former Minister of State for Finance Shiv Pratap Shukla says, "The way Samajwadi Party is spreading propaganda that we have harmed the Brahmins. We will now go among the Brahmins and tell them that we have made the most MPs, Ministers, and MLAs (from this community)". On the other hand, Basic Education Minister Satish Dwivedi said that today many ministers including him have been honoured by BJP are in the state.

Uttar Pradesh Law Minister Brajesh Pathak handed over a letter to BJP National President JP Nadda on the demand of the All India Brahmin Mahasabha which addresses the demand for naming an intersection in Lucknow after Lord Parshuram.  It also mentioned the demand to declare the birthplace of Lord Parshuram in Shahjahanpur as a public destination to attract visitors from all over.
