Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) Chief Om Prakash Rajbhar, BJP leader Dara Singh Chauhan, Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) MLA Anil Kumar, and BJP's Sunil Kumar Sharma took oath as ministers in the Uttar Pradesh cabinet on Tuesday. Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended their congratulations to the newly appointed ministers.






The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister took to X and wrote, "Hearty congratulations to all the colleagues who took oath as ministers in the Uttar Pradesh government today! There is full confidence that all of you will play an important role in realizing the resolve of 'Developed Uttar Pradesh' by bringing 'Modi's Guarantee' to the ground. My best wishes to all of you for your bright tenure!"






SBSP Chief Om Prakash Rajbhar expressed gratitude for the opportunity and told news agency ANI, "As per the wish of the party leaders, we are going to be a part of the government... In the meeting with the CM, the pending discussion with some seats was carried out..."


"We continuously work towards our goal of serving the poor. To fulfill that goal, people in the government will take the schemes of the government to the doors of the poor, bring them justice, and resolve their issues... No riot occurred in 7 years under the rule of CM Yogi Adityanath...There is a rule of law," he remarked after the oath ceremony.






RLD MLA Anil Kumar thanked party president Jayant Chaudhary, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and CM Yogi Adityanath, affirming, "I will fulfill all the responsibilities that will be given to me..."






BJP's Sunil Kumar Sharma told ANI, "The responsibility that has been given to me by the Chief Minister and the party will be carried out responsibly. I will do what I learnt while being in the party...In Lok Sabha elections, we will win all 80 seats this time..."


Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak highlighted the significance of the cabinet expansion, emphasising unity and development, stating, "We will work together for the development of the state... The opposition has nothing to say, it is derailed..."


State minister Swatantra Dev Singh underscored the BJP's commitment to serving the people, remarking, "Whenever SP-BSP came to power, they have looted the people. BJP serves the poor people when it comes to power..."

SBSP Chief On Ministerial Position, Formation Of Purvanchal State After Lok Sabha Election 2024


Rajbhar had on Sunday expressed optimism about becoming a minister in the Uttar Pradesh government this week. Addressing a rally, he voiced confidence in the victory of NDA candidates on all 80 seats of Uttar Pradesh, stating, "Purvanchal state will be formed after the 2024 Lok Sabha elections...", as reported by news agency PTI.


Rajbhar's assertions come amidst speculation surrounding cabinet expansion before the Lok Sabha elections in UP.


With SBSP's return to the NDA, Rajbhar vowed to secure victory for the alliance candidates across the state, affirming, "Our target is to win 80 seats. Whichever candidate contests from NDA, we will make Modi ji the prime minister by making him win again", as quoted by PTI.
