UP Assembly Election: Another political party from Bihar has entered the fray for UP Assembly Elections 2022. Former Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi's party Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) will also try its luck in the upcoming UP assembly elections.
Jitan Ram Manjhi's son and party general secretary Santosh Kumar Suman held a meeting in the capital Lucknow regarding the party's agenda in Uttar Pradesh. Santosh Kumar, a minister in the Bihar government, said that Hindustani Awam Morcha "working as the voice of the poor in Bihar. In Uttar Pradesh too, bringing the Bihar Model - Dalits, minorities, backward castes, most backward castes, and economically weak from upper castes - will solve the problems and connect the backward in the mainstream."

Santosh Kumar did not mention anything specific besides HAM's willingness to contest UP Polls. He did not mention how many seats will Hindustani Awam Morcha contest or will they contest elections in an alliance or as an independent party. He said that work is going on to expand the scope of Hindustani Awam Morcha and exploring political possibilities in UP.
Santosh Kumar further said that the role and the party's participation in the elections will be discussed with the state officials. After this, the national president and core committee of the party will make the strategy. He added that he will arrive in UP soon and reveal the election strategy.

Earlier, Bihar's Minister Mukesh Sahani had also arrived in Lucknow to announce the participation of the Vikassheel Insaan Party in the election battle.
