Kashi Vishwanath Darshan: In this era of technology, even religious places are using it to their benefit. Recently, the Kashi Vishwanath temple launched the Live Darshan app on Friday. 


Speaking at the launch, Chief Secretary to the Uttar Pradesh government, Durga Shanker Mishra said that through this app, it will be easy for devotees to worship and do puja, as well as it will be easier for the administration to control the crowd in the temple. 


The Chief Secretary said that with the construction of Baba's Dham, the number of devotees coming here has increased and the app has been launched in view of the same.


App To Be Used For Crowd Control


According to the information, the app will be working for now on a trial basis. It can be downloaded from the Play Store. The unique feature of the app will be that it will have Hindi, English, and many languages of South India. 


Meanwhile, on the occasion of Mahashivratri, arrangements are being made for crowd control and security management through this app. Later, the app will also have a facility of live darshan-puja and viewing of aarti. 


DGP Mukul Goel, Commissioner Deepak Agrawal, Commissioner of Police A Satish Ganesh were present during the launch.


Booking For Mahashivratri Begins


Shortly after the launch of the app, registration for darshan-puja on the day of the Mahashivratri festival began. At present, the facility of registration on the app is available only for Mahashivratri. It should also be known that there is an option to register for every hour from 4 Am to 11 PM. 


The highest registration is between four and five o'clock in the morning. Till 10:30 PM on Friday, there were 1,668 registrations made for this hour. There have been some registrations for every hour from 4 AM to 11 PM. It is believed that in the future this app will be very convenient for devotees.
