Kalyan Singh Health Update: The condition of Kalyan Singh, former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and former Governor of Rajasthan, admitted to Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI) in Lucknow, remains unstable and doctors are constantly monitoring his situation. Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel reached SGPGI on Tuesday afternoon to meet ailing Kalyan Singh.
According to the health bulletin issued by SGPGI at 3 pm on Tuesday, the condition of Kalyan Singh remains unstable as before. Kalyan Singh was put on oxygen support after he complained of breathlessness on Saturday evening. After his condition worsened, he is kept on 'non-invasive ventilation' since Sunday evening.
Doctors Monitoring Health
According to the statement, senior doctors of the PCM, Cardiology, Nephrology, Neurology, and Endocrinology departments are constantly monitoring the health of the former Chief Minister. SGPGI Director Professor R. K. Dhiman is monitoring Kalyan Singh's treatment.
According to the SGPGI statement, Governor Patel met Kalyan Singh on Tuesday afternoon and inquired about his well-being. The Governor also inquired about his health from the doctors of the institute.
89-year-old Kalyan Singh was admitted to SGPGI on July 4. Earlier, he was being treated at Ram Manohar Lohia Medical Institute.
