One of the seven lotteries that are held each week is Karunya Plus. The KARUNYA PLUS Lottery Result lottery draw is held every Thursday at 3 p.m. Every lottery has an alphabetical code to identify it; the draw number and lottery code for the Karunya Plus Lottery Result KN-557 is "KN.". The Karunya Plus lottery only costs Rs. 40 (forty rupees).

The lottery agency will give the money to the agents who sell the winning tickets after deducting 10% of the first through third prizes. 10% of the prize money (the agent's commission) for the fourth through eighth place winners and the consolation prizes will come from the government-allocated fund.

A sum equal to 12% of the prize money will be subtracted from the first, second, and third place awards and given to the relevant agents as an agent commission.
Wins from lotteries are subject to a flat 30% tax. The basic tax liability is determined by multiplying the total winnings by 0.30. The basic tax liability, for instance, would be ₹1,00,00,000 × 0.30 = ₹30,00,000 if you won ₹1 crore (₹1,00,00,000).

There are ten series of tickets available. Twenty crore rupees will be the first prize. Twenty winners will receive the second prize, which is Rs 1 crore. Each series will have two prizes. The cost of the ticket is 400 rupees (Rs 312.50 + 28% GST). Ninety lakh tickets totaling Rs 281.25 crore have been printed by the department.
Notification of the 2024–25 Christmas–New Year’s bumper lottery has been released by the Kerala government. The largest prize money on a single ticket in India, Rs 20 crore, is up for grabs with this X'mas New Year bumper. The Kerala Christmas New Year bumper lottery BR-101 sales began on December 6, 2023.
If the prize money awarded to today's lottery winners is less than Rs. 5,000, they can pick it up from any Kerala lottery shop. They must turn in their tickets to the bank or government lottery office along with documentation of their claim if the sum exceeds Rs. 5,000. There is a 10% agent commission and a 30% tax deduction for the Kerala lottery.
If the prize is more than one lakh rupees, the winning ticket must be presented to the Director of State Lotteries after the winner's name, address, and signature are pasted on the ticket's back along with the necessary paperwork.
- Make a photocopy of both sides of the ticket, self-attested, and a claim application.
- Two passport-sized pictures of the lottery winner, properly certified by a notary public or gazette officer.
