Sharad and Mariyappan claim silver and bronze in the Men's High Jump T63 event.
Ajeet and Sundar secure silver and bronze in the Men's Javelin Throw F46 event.
India's Rinku concludes his campaign in the Men's Javelin Throw F46 Final with a season-best effort of 61.58m, securing 5th place.
India's Shailesh Kumar was unable to clear 1.88m in his second attempt in the Men's High Jump T63 Final.
India's Mariyappan Thangavelu also fails to clear the 1.88m mark in his second attempt and again in his third attempt, ending his chances for the gold medal in the Men's High Jump T63 Final.
His best effort remains 1.85m.

India’s Pooja is eliminated from the Women’s Individual Recurve Open quarter-final, losing 4-6 to China’s Wu Chunyan. Despite trailing 0-4 after the first two sets, Wu staged a remarkable comeback to secure victory by winning the remaining three sets.

Avani Lekhara finished 5th in the Women's 50m Rifle 3 Positions SH1 final, scoring a total of 420.6. She posted 9.3 in the second single-shot Standing Elimination Stage, confirming her exit from the medal contention stage.

Still plenty of action remaining in the day as far as the Indian athletes are concerned. None perhape more anticipated than Avani Lekhara's final which is scheduled at 07:30 pm (IST).
Avani Lekhara Qualifies for final. She has three medals to her name already in Paralympics and she will be in with a chance to clinch her fourth later this evening. She finished 7th in qualification. However, Mona, misses out after having bronze bronze earlier this Parlaympics.
Still no confirmation but seems like Avani might have done enough to reach the final of the Women's 50m Rifle 3 Positions SH1 event.
Bhagyashri Jadhav Will Return Home Without A Medal. It's confirmed. Her throws are over and she is not in top 3 already. Her best throw was measured at 7.28, with three throwers having recorded better throws already.
Archery quaterfinals will be played this evening.
Meanwhile, Pooja has managed to secure a place for herself in the archery quarterfinals.
After Kneeling and Prone round of the rifle shooting qualification, Avani is 8th and Mona is 15th. Both are good in the Standing events and so one can expect them to reach the final.

Avani is currently placed 7th. Top 8 will proceed to the final, remember so she will want some room for comfort. Mona at the 13th place.
Anavia with a 97 in the 2nd series. She slips to sixth as of now. Mona Agarwal with a better show - 98 in the 2nd series. She is 13th after a poor 92 in the first.
Avani Lekhara 5th in the early stages of the qualification but Manu is far off at this stage.

It could be another medal day for India at the Paris Paralympics 2024 on Tuesday (September 3). This after a record-breaking day Monday which saw Indian athletes winning 8 medals, the Indian contingent would now be eager to take their overall medal tally of 15 to past their best-ever tally of 19 which came in Tokyo and then take take to as big a number as possible.
It has been a great performance already and with Avani Lekhara back in action today, all Indian fans are hoping for a medal from the shooter. There is no Indian event before 1 pm (IST) today with Mona Agarwal, Avani Lekhara's qualification to kick off the day for India with both of them having already won a medal each in the other event with Avani winning the gold amd Mona taking the bronze to ensure a double podium finish for India, in a rare sight at the Paralympics.
