Kolkata Knight Riders have won the toss and opted bat to bowl first against Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Mumbai Indians are favourites to win today's game due to their head-to-head record against Kolkata Knight Riders.

New Delhi: Riding high on confidence after an emphatic win in their previous game, Eoin Morgan-led Kolkata Knight Riders will take on a depleted Mumbai Indians on Thursday in the 34th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 Phase 2. Both the teams will play their second match in the UAE leg of the tournament.

 

Mumbai Indians were defeated by Chennai Super Kings in UAE opening game. On the other hand, Kolkata literally thumped RCB by 9 wickets. Today's match is important for Mumbai as they'll aim to improve their position in IPL 2021 points table.  At the same time, Kolkata will look to maintain the winning streak.
