The fourth and final Test of four-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy ended in a draw as early stumps were called. India take series 2-1 to win the series and with Sri Lanka failing to beat New Zealand 2-0 in two-match Test series after losing the first Test at Christchurch, India have qualified for WTC 2023 final where they will go up against Australia on June 7 at The Oval.

Axar Patel provided India with a huge breakthrough. He cleaned up Travis Head on a score of 90. It was a good length delivery that came in sharp and Head failed to read and the ball went on to rattle the stumps.

Ind Vs Aus Live: Hello and Welcome to ABP's live coverage of the match between India and Australia. Day 4 of the ongoing fourth Test between India and Australia belonged to Virat Kohli. He made it special by registering his Test century No.28 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Kohli ended his century drought after 3 year 3 months, making it big on a batting-friendly wicket.


The former India skipper took 241 delivery to get to his century as he made a total ion 186 runs before getting out. With the help of brilliant knocks from Gill ad Kohli, India posted a huge total of 571 runs in reply to Australia’s 480. The Indians ended up taking the lead of 91 runs on day 4. Coming down the order, left-arm spinner Axar Patel also contributed with a well-made 79 runs off 113 balls.






For Australia, Nathan Lyon and Todd Murphy starred with the ball on a batting-friendly wicket. Lyon registered 3 for 151 while Murphy took 3 wickets for 113. Mitchell Starc and Matthew Kuhnemann were the other wicket-takers for the Aussies.


Before the end of day 4 play, Australia started batting as the Indian bowlers bowled 6 overs and gave away 3 runs. The Kangaroos started the proceedings with  Matthew Kuhnemann along with the regular opener Travis Head while Ashwin and Jadeja bowled the initial overs for Team India.
