The number of devotees in Ramnagar continues to rise, with faith swelling by the hour. Despite an uncomfortable situation persisting for the past two days, security forces have gained significant control using a revised strategy. The influx of pilgrims remains constant, and the security apparatus is now combining both estimation and experience to manage the crowd. To ensure the safety of the devotees and maintain control, the government has dispatched three IPS officers to Ramnagar: Anil Singh Sisodia, the Battalion Commander of the 28th PAC in Etawah; Aditya Prakash, the Battalion Commander of the 43rd PAC in Etah; and Amit Kumar Pratham, the Battalion Commander of the 23rd PAC in Moradabad. Anil Singh Sisodia, with his experience handling major events as SP City and CO, is familiar with managing such large gatherings. The challenge will continue as devotees from the Kumbh Mela and Makar Sankranti begin to arrive.
