The issue of caste census has taken center stage in Indian politics. From Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi to Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav, opposition leaders have been continuously targeting the central government over this matter. Amidst this, NDA ally and Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar has made a significant statement on the caste census. He asserted that only Prime Minister Narendra Modi can successfully implement the caste census. Rajbhar criticized the Samajwadi Party, Congress, and BSP, stating that these parties are now advocating for a caste census merely to garner votes. He questioned why these parties did not conduct a caste census when they were in power, accusing them of exploiting backward communities for years. Rajbhar emphasized that the caste census will be carried out under PM Modi's leadership.
