CLAIM:A video collage of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi circulatedon social media, with claims that PM Modi talks about ending the reservation upon his win, whileRahul Gandhi talks about upholding the Constitution.INVESTIGATION:The PTI Fact Check Desk conducted a search on Google to verify the claims. During theinvestigation, the Desk came across a report by ETV Bharat published on April 25, whereinPrime Minister Modi criticised the Congress during a public event in UP's Shahjahanpur. PMModi termed Congress' remarks as dialogues from flop films. He quoted the purported like "IfModi wins, reservation will end" and "If Modi wins, autocracy will prevail." These parts of thevideo were clipped and shared on social media with false claims. The complete video isavailable on the BJP's YouTube Channel, where it is evident that the video has been shared outof context.CONCLUSION:During the investigation, the Desk found that a clipped video of PM Modi's speech was sharedwith false claims. The PTI Fact Check Team urges users to refrain from sharing any postswithout verifying the facts first.
