When cancer has spread from the stomach to the lungs, liver, distant lymph nodes, and tissue lining the abdominal wall, it is called Stage IV stomach cancer or metastatic stomach cancer. It is difficult to cure Stage IV stomach cancer, and only 20 per cent of the people with the disease will survive their cancer for
