Ingredients
- 1 Cup Quinoa
- 1 Tablespoon Coconut or Olive Oil
- 1 Teaspoon Mustard Seeds
- 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- 2 Piece Green Chillies
- 2 Cup Water
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 1 Piece Onion
- 1 Cup Mixed Vegetables
- Turmeric Powder
- Salt
- Chopped Coriander

Main Procedure
Step 1
Rinse the quinoa in a bowl properly and then set it aside for a while.
Step 2
Take a pan, heat oil in it. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and turmeric powder. Wait till they splutter.
Step 3
Add in chopped green chillies, ginger, and onions. Saute everything together and wait till the onions are cooked.
Step 4
Add mixed vegetables and stir them. Wait for them to cook and then add the rinsed quinoa.
Step 5
Once the vegetables are cooked, add in water and cover the pan with lid. Wait for 10-12 minutes till the water absorbs completely.
Step 6
Once cooked, remove from heat and drizzle some lemon juice for a tangy flavour.
Step 7
Garnish the dish with chopped and fresh coriander. Serve the Quinoa Upma hot and enjoy!
