Snack Homemade Honey Oat Granola Bar Recipe
Homemade Oat Granola Bars are wholesome delights that are made with oats, nuts, honey, and dried fruits. These energy-boosting bars are ideal as snacks or a quick breakfast.
Ingredients
- 2 Cup Rolled Oats
- 1 Cup Chopped Nuts
- 0.5 Cup Honey
- 0.5 Cup Natural Nut Butter
- 0.5 Cup Dried Fruits
- 0.5 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 2 Pinch Salt
Main Procedure
Preheat the oven to 175°C. Line a pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Take a baking sheet and spread oats and chopped nuts over it. Toast it in the oven for about 10 minutes. This will enhance the flavour and add extra crunch. Let them cool down.
Take a saucepan and stir together honey and nut butter. Once the mixture is warm and smooth remove it from heat and add in the vanilla extract and salt.
Take a large bowl, mix together toasted oats, nuts, and dried fruits. Pour in the honey-nut butter mixture over the dry ingredients and stir well.
Transfer the mixture to prepared pan and press it down using a spatula. For firm bars bake it for about 12 minutes. If you prefer no-bake bars, refrigerate it for about 1-2 hours.
Once done, lift from the pan and cut into bars. Store it in an airtight container and enjoy.
