Main Procedure

Step 1

Marination: In a bowl, mix yogurt, red chilli powder, turmeric, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, lemon juice, and salt to create a marinade. Add paneer strips and coat them well with the marinade.

Step 2

Cook The Paneer: Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a grill pan or regular pan. Place the marinated paneer strips and cook on medium heat until they turn golden brown and slightly charred on all sides. Set it aside.

Step 3

Prepare The Tortilla Base: Slightly warm the tortilla wraps on a tawa or skillet for 30 seconds on each side to make them pliable. Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise or hung curd on the tortilla.

Step 4

Add Sauce: Add mint chutney or chilli sauce for an added flavour.

Step 5

Assemble The Wrap: Place a lettuce leaf in the center of the tortilla. Add a layer of grilled paneer strips. Top with sliced veggies like onion, bell peppers, and cucumbers. Sprinkle some shredded cheese if desired.

Step 6

Roll The Wrap: Fold in the sides of the tortilla slightly, then roll it tightly from one end to the other. Use a toothpick or parchment paper to secure it if needed.

Step 7

Grill: Place the rolled wrap on a grill pan or tawa. Grill for 1–2 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.

Step 8

Serve: Cut the wrap in half diagonally and serve with mint chutney, ketchup, or any dip of your choice.
