Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 Piece Onion (medium, chopped)
- 2 Piece Carrot (peeled, chopped)
- 2 Piece Celery Stalks
- 3 Piece Garlic Clove (minced)
- 2 Cup Chicken Broth
- 1.5 Cup Pasta or Noodles
- 2 Cup Chicken (cooked, shredded)
- 1 Piece Bay Leaf
- 1 Teaspoon Dried Thyme
- Salt
- Pepper
- Parsley
Main Procedure
Step 1
Take a large pan and heat olive oil in it. Add in chopped onions, celery, and carrot. Saute for about 5 minutes.
Step 2
Add in minced garlic and cook for another minute.
Step 3
Pour in the chicken broth and add shredded chicken, bay leaf, thyme, salt, and pepper. Bring it to boil.
Step 4
Once it has boiled, reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 15 minutes. Allow the flavours to infuse.
Step 5
Add noodles to the soup and cook it. Wait till the noodles are tender.
Step 6
Once done, remove the bay leaf. Serve it hot and garnish with fresh parsley.
