Cold Wave in Rajasthan Eases as Weather Change Brings Rains and Rising Temperatures

Rajasthan has experienced a significant drop in night temperatures over the past 24 hours, triggering cold wave conditions in areas like Churu, Sikar, and Jodhpur, where temperatures plunged to 3-5°C below normal. However, the cold snap is expected to ease within 48 hours due to a cyclonic circulation over the Arabian Sea, which will bring warm, moist winds to the region. This will result in temperatures rising to double digits, even in arid border areas. Winter rains are forecasted for January 10-11, with more intense rainfall expected on January 11. Temperatures may drop again early next week.
