Puja rituals ahead of the 'pran pratishtha' ceremony is underway in the presence of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra trust member and 'Yajman' Anil Mishra at the garbhagriha of Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
“From the perspective of security, police have made a riverine control room near the ‘aarti ghat’. This will act as an integrated control room for water police, civil police and other services. Motorboats and motorcycles will be used for patrolling,” says Ayodhya SSP Raj Karan Nayyar, while speaking on the security preparations for the upcoming Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
Ayodhya Ram Temple's Chief Architect Chandrakant Sompura gives details on its architecture. He says, "The design is the same as it was earlier. After the decision of the court, we added three more mandapas and increased its height. The temple is based on Nagara architectural style..."

Helicopter services for the Ayodhya pilgrimage are set to begin from six districts, with the Yogi government fixing the rental charges. The services will be accessible from Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Agra, and Mathura.
The Yogi government will organize aerial tours of Ayodhya City and the Ram Temple for Rs 3,000. Up to five pilgrims can partake in the aerial expedition simultaneously, and each individual is allowed a maximum luggage weight of 5 kilograms.

Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav will not attend the consecration ceremony at Ram Temple on January 22, reports IANS. Addressing reporters in Patna, the former Bihar Chief Minister said: “I will not go to Ayodhya for the Pran Pratistha of Ram Lalla.”
First flight from Bengaluru reaches Ayodhya ahead of the consecration ceremony. A passenger who arrived on the flight says, "Earlier, we had to come here via Lucknow. We keep looking at the developments here shown in the media. We feel very happy."
On Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ram Temple, Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra trust member Kameshwar Chaupal says, "This moment is undescribable for those who dreamt of it, those who struggled for a long time. On opposition calling the Pran Pratishtha a BJP event, BJP MP Hema Malini says, "...They have to say something while being in the opposition. They got ready to oppose the Ram Temple also. All of us are Indians and should be proud of it. It is important to connect with it, no matter who did it. The opposition should not politicise this... It is their loss if they are not coming... It is good for those who are coming and is a loss for those who aren't..."
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath says, "The Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony will be held on January 22, and the entire nation is eagerly excited for this event. People are eagerly planning to visit Ayodhya for it. Four or five years ago, nobody could have thought that an airport would be built in Ayodhya. However, this is a reality now."
Former UP Congress chief Nirmal Khatri on Tuesday said he would attend the Ram Temple inauguration event on January 22.
Reacting to the same, Union Minister Anurag Thakur says, "When they do injustice in their party and keep Ram devotees away from Ram, then how would Ram devotees listen to them? This is why nobody is listening to him (Rahul Gandhi) in Congress..."

But the BJP is building temples for elections... In Ayodhya, I felt nothing."
Alok Kumar of VHP addressed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's comments about the Ram temple inauguration, stating, "We invited his mother, the Leader of Opposition... If we had invited only the PM, then they could have said this. What is their objection now?"
Gearing up for the 'pran pratishtha' ceremony at the Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22 and the Republic Day celebrations, the Delhi Police is making adequate security arrangements, including using drones, across the national capital, officials said on Tuesday.
"Security has been beefed up across the national capital ahead of 'pran pratishtha' and the Republic Day. Our forces are already taking out flag march in several sensitive areas identified by the department," a senior police officer said.
The officer added the Delhi Police is "keeping an extra vigil in those sensitive areas" and "using drones to monitor security".
More than 8,000 police personnel have already been deployed in Delhi for the January 26 parade across the national capital.
The night patrolling staffers, who have been directed to check hotels, guest houses and dharamshalas, are checking security measures in place at these facilities, particularly near the railway stations and inter-state bus terminals, and their records to know who are visiting the national capital and for what purpose. "Every 'Mahatma' and political leaders are being invited on behalf of our trust... There are 13 'panch' in the Akhara currently. All of them have been invited. Other saints of the Akhara have also been invited and everyone is coming too," he says.
Vishva Hindu Parishad Vice President Champat Rai says: "The UP government has provided transportation services, free from noise and air pollution to the general public. It is a very commendable and admirable move. I praise all the necessary efforts that are being taken by the UP government."

Before the Supreme Court's order, aarti was being performed but the officials stopped us... But after the Supreme Court's decision, the whole property of Ram Lalla was regained. Our 'panch', all saints and Ram devotees all over the world are excited..."
As the consecration ceremony begins today, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh says, "On January 22, the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla is going to take place. People from the country and all over the world will participate in it. There cannot be a more joyous occasion for the people of the country and all Lord Ram devotees..."
The consecration ceremony of the idol of Ram Lalla will start from today with 'Prayaschita' and 'Karmakuti Poojan'.

Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra General Secretary Champat Rai announced on Monday that the installation of the lord Ram idol in the 'Garbh Griha' of the temple is scheduled for January 18, with the Pran Pratishtha ceremony to follow at 12:20 pm on January 22.
During a press conference, Rai revealed that Mysuru-based artist Arun Yogiraj had crafted a new statue of Ram Lalla for the upcoming temple. Champat Rai confirmed the retention of the current Ram Lalla statue in the sanctum sanctorum.
Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid of Varanasi determined the auspicious timing for the ceremony, with religious rituals commencing on January 16 and continuing until January 21. The formal procedures for pre-Pran Pratishtha sacraments will initiate on January 16 and extend through January 21.
"The 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony will take place on Jan 22. The idol for which 'Pran Pratishtha' will be done is expected to be around 150-200 kgs. On 18th January, the idol will be placed at its position in the 'Garbh Griha' of the temple," said Rai.
The Pran Pratishtha, expected to conclude by 1 pm on January 22, will witness the presence of notable dignitaries, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, UP Governor Anandiben Patel, and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Conducted in the presence of 121 Acharyas representing diverse traditions, the ceremony will draw witnesses from various spiritual and tribal traditions, encompassing Shaiva, Vaishnav, Shaakta, Sikh, Bauddha, Jain, and more.
"There are Seven Adhivaasas in Pran Pratishtha ceremony, and a minimum of three Adhivasas are in practice. There will be 121 Acharyas conducting the rituals," added Rai.
Rai expressed widespread enthusiasm for the consecration of Ram Lalla, with offerings pouring in from different states, including water, soil, gold, silver, gems, clothing, jewelry, bells, drums, and aromatic items. Notably, gifts were received from Janakpur and Sitamarhi for lord Ram, adding to the festive preparations.
The inauguration of the Ram Temple on January 22 is anticipated to be a grand event, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi set to attend. Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Rama, holds immense spiritual, historical, and cultural significance for the people of India.
In a separate development, senior members of the Congress party visited Ayodhya on Monday, paying obeisance to Lord Ram in the Hanuman Garhi temple. Senior leaders Deepender Hooda, Supriya Shrinate, Avinash Pande, and Ajay Rai took a dip in the Sarya river before visiting the temple, discussing the idea of bringing the proverbial ‘Ram Rajya’ in the country.
Their visit came a day before the scheduled commencement of rituals for the January 22 consecration ceremony. Last week, the Congress labeled the ceremony a "political event," asserting that the BJP and RSS were attempting to derive political gains from religion. The party had initially turned down the invitation but later stated that its leaders didn't need an invitation to visit the God's abode.
