The Himachal Pradesh government on Friday declared the whole state as 'natural calamity affected area', ANI reported.
"On behalf of all the people of Chhattisgarh, I announce an aid amount of Rs 11 crore to help the people suffering due to heavy rains and landslides in Devbhoomi Himachal Pradesh," tweets Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel.
He adds, "We all Chhattisgarhians stand with the people of Himachal and will collectively face the disaster and work for restoration of normalcy. We all pray to God to protect everyone."
Rescuers have recovered another body from the Shimla Summer Hill landslide site taking the toll to 15.

Himachal CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu speaks on a media report suggesting he said that migrant labourers from Bihar construct houses in Himachal Pradesh who don't know much about scientific methods.
He says, "Instead of doing politics, all the four MPs from Himachal Pradesh should have at least raised the issue related to relief work in the Parliament."
"Govt is doing everything possible to prevent any further loss of lives and we are working on restoration of roads..," he said.

Search & rescue operation is underway at the landslide-affected areas of Shimla, Himachal Pradesh on Friday.
Chamoli District Magistrate Himanshu Khurana says, "There has been no cloudburst in Tharali, but the water in the Pranmati River has increased to a great extent. The administration had already alerted in that area, but there is no information about any kind of damage till now."
SDRF reached the spot and rescue work is being done on the information of excessive water filling in the houses in Kaluwala due to heavy rains in Dehradun district, says SDRF Uttarakhand Police.
They added that forces are constantly trying to help the affected people.
Amid ongoing monsoon fury, a cloudburst has been reported from Uttarakhand's Chamoli District.

As many as 15 houses collapsed and seven cowsheds were completely destroyed in subsidence and landslides at Jakhan village, part of Madrasu gram panchayat on Langha Road, 50 km from Uttarakhand's Dehradun on Wednesday, an offical statement informed. At least 71 people have been killed in rain-related incidents in the last three days in Himachal Pradesh, officials said on Wednesday, ANI reported.
The India Meteorological Department has predicted light rain in the national capital on Thursday. According to the weather office, the sky is expected to remain mostly cloudy over the next few days in Delhi. The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 34 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature is expected to remain around 26 degrees Celsius.
In Punjab, several areas of Gurdaspur got submerged following heavy rain lashing parts of the state. Several teams of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), the Army and the Border Security Force (BSF) were dispatched to conduct rescue operations in the flood-hit region. News agency ANI shared a visual from the area that showed waterlogged streets.
A number of people residing in the low-lying regions and villages on the banks of the rivers in Punjab were moved to safer places. The district officials have appealed to people in the flood-struck regions to move to safer locations. Due to the current situation, the Gurdaspur district administration announced holidays in government and private schools in the affected regions till further orders.
In Telangana, the Met on Wednesday issued a yellow alert with predictions of widespread rainfall between August 18-20. Dr K Nagaratna, Director, Meterological Centre, Hyderabad said, "Telangana is likely to have fairly widespread rainfall on 18, 19 and 20 August. A Yellow alert has been issued," as quoted by news agency ANI. He further said that at present the weather indicates that upper air circulation lies over the North of the East Bay of Bengal.
