‘Looking Forward To Seeing Him In Russia’: Putin Invites PM Modi To Moscow

EAM S. Jaishankar called on Russian President Vladimir Putin Wednesday, handing him over a “personal message” by PM Narendra Modi. The visit comes in the wake of India and Russia not holding the Annual Summit for two years in a row.

New Delhi: Russian President Vladimir Putin has extended an invitation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit Moscow in early 2024 during a meeting with External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar on Wednesday. However, both sides have not yet been able to finalise a date to hold the India-Russia Annual Summit which has not happened for two years in a row.
