A 96-year-old woman died after a fire broke out at a residential building in Mumbai. Fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the fire was brought under control, ANI reported.

Hassan SP Mohammad Sujitha says, "Around 1.30pm, there was some electric shock due to a wire broken nearby. People panicked and started rushing. KEB and HESCOM officials are here. They're checking. Three people sent to hospital, a few others also sent to hospital. Doctors have clarified that they are all are out of danger. Time is less for darshan, that's why the crowd is more. We have arranged everything properly now."
While speaking to the media on Lok Sabha Ethics Panel adopting report on 'Cash-For-Query' allegations against TMC MP Mahua Moitra, JD-U MP and Member of Lok Sabha Ethics Committee, Girdhari Lal Yadav said that the inquiry was not been done properly and that they concluded the meeting in two minutes.
"They did not even take 2 minutes in concluding the meeting. They should have discussed... There should have been a debate on the report they had submitted... It is not about anyone's respect or disrespect, the main point is that the inquiry has not been done properly. There is an allegation that Darshan Hiranandani had paid her but they did not summon him... This shows that whatever happened was against the principle of justice... They have implemented biased behaviour," Yadav said.

The raids are underway at a few locations in Anantnag and Pulwama districts, the agency said. The proceeds of crime might subsequently have been used in unlawful activities, including secessionism and terrorism, according to the agency.

Rajnath Singh And US Defence Secy To Co-Chair 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue On Friday
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will co-chair the India-US 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue with US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin and US State Secretary Antony Blinken on November 10.
Following the Ministerial Dialogue, US Defence Secretary Austin will conduct a bilateral meeting with Rajnath Singh.
Following his visit to India, Austin will be travelling to Korea and Indonesia, which will mark his 9th visit to the Indo-Pacific region.
Meanwhile, Blinken will arrive in New Delhi tomorrow to participate in the India-US 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue.
“Secretary Austin and US Secretary of State Mr Antony Blinken will co-chair the Ministerial 2+2 Dialogue with Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh and Minister of External Affairs Dr S Jaishankar on November 10,” the Ministry of Defence said in a statement
SC To Hear Challenges To K'taka HC Stay On Investigation Against DK Shivakumar On Friday
The Supreme Court will hear the plea by the CBI against the Karnataka High Court's decision to stay the investigation against Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar in a Disproportionate Assets (DA) case on Friday.
ASG SV Raju appearing for the CBI told the court that the entire investigation had been stayed on the basis of falsehood.
Earlier the CBI had told the court that the interim stay by the High Court was granted without hearing them.
Senior Advocate Mukul Rohatgi appearing for Shivakumar asked the court for some time to file a reply.
The court will resume hearing the matter on Friday.
In June, the Karnataka High Court stayed the investigations by the probe agency but the agency then approached the top court.
