"There is no need to merge, our faction will be given different recognition and we aren't merging with any other party," he said.
"We are still in Shiv Sena, there's misunderstanding that we've left the party. We've just separated our faction. We've 2-3rd majority to follow the path we wanted. Our new leader chosen by majority. They didn't have more than 16-17 MLAs," Kesarkar addded.
"We will take legal action against those who have used Balasaheb Thackeray's name for their self-centred politics. Those who have left can't use our patriarch's name," Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said after party's national executive meeting.
"We have passed 6 resolutions and have decided Shiv Sena will follow Hindutva ideology of Balasaheb Thackeray & won't compromise with ideology of a united Maharashtra," he said.
Raut also stated that strict action to be taken against those who have betrayed the party. "CM Thackeray has the authority to take action against those who left," he said.
"People will come to know what actions will be taken against those who have left the party by the evening. The work that CM Uddhav Thackeray has done is commendable. We will all fight the elections under his leadership," Raut added.
"CM Uddhav Thackeray has said that the leaders who have left Shiv Sena should not ask for votes in the name of Shiv Sena and Balasaheb Thackeray. Ask for votes in the name of your father. Mahavikas Aghadi is united," he said.

Maharashtra Turmoil: Shiv Sena's National Executive Meet Today At 1 PM
Amid the ongoing political crisis in Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena has called for a meeting of the party's national executive committee at Sena Bhavan, Mumbai today at 1 pm. The Chief Minister, who is currently positive with Covid-19, will also join the meeting through video conferencing. Meanwhile, in a meeting of Shiv Sena's rebel MLAs, they have planned to take a resolution to oust Deputy Speaker Narhari Zirwal. Action is being taken to prepare for the Motion with the signature of 46 MLAs of the rebel group, sources told news agency ANI.
Meanwhile, Eknath Shinde on Friday proclaimed the support of 37 MLAs leaving the Shiv Sena with 17 legislators. The rebels submitted its claimed list to Deputy Speaker and also attached two resolutions stating that Shinde continues to be the chief of Shiv Sena Legislative Party, and appointed MLA Bharat Gogavale as the new Chief Whip, as the group contended its support has increased today to 41 Sena MLAs, plus a dozen independents and smaller parties today (June 24).

The first phase of Panchayat elections will begin in Madhya Pradesh from Saturday 25th June. Polling will be held from 7 am to 3pm. According to reports, total of 1,217 polling booths have been set up in Indore, out of which 282 are very sensitive more than two thousands police has been deployed in these polling booths.
Out of 4,555 Panch posts, election will be held for 1,438 posts. Whereas for the remaining 3,117 post, they will be elected unopposed due to the receipt of single nomination papers.
