The Lok Sabha Ethics Committee will meet on Thursday to adopt a draught report on the cash-for-query allegation against Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra, with indications that the panel will be critical of the charges levelled against her.

According to a PTI report, the charges against Moitra are likely to be dismissed by the committee, especially after she accused its chairman, Vinod Kumar Sonkar, of asking her filthy and personal questions in the previous meeting before storming out in a rage with opposition members.
There are indications that the committee may make a recommendation against Moitra in its report to Speaker Birla, despite opposition members' dissent notes, the report said.
