Breaking News LIVE: Delhi To Witness Scattered Rainfall Today, Says IMD

The minimum temperature in Delhi dipped slightly to settle at 26.4 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, even as the weather office forecast generally cloudy sky with light rain or drizzle later in the day.


Parts of the national capital had received scattered rainfall on Monday and the maximum temperature settled at 35.2 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.


The city reported 2 mm of rainfall from 8:30 AM on Monday to 8:30 AM on Tuesday, as per data shared by the India Meteorological Department (IMD).


The relative humidity at 8:30 AM stood at 84 per cent.


The maximum temperature on Tuesday is expected to rise to 36 degrees Celsius.  The minimum and maximum temperature readings on Wednesday are likely to settle at 26 degrees Celsius and 35 degrees Celsius respectively with a mainly clear sky forecast, according to IMD data.

Sonia Gandhi's Second Round Of ED Questioning Expected


Congress President Sonia Gandhi is expected to appear before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for the next round of questioning in the National Herald case, as reported by news agency PTI.


Significantly, the ED had questioned Sonia for two hours on Thursday in the money laundering case related to the National Herald newspaper. At the same time, in protest against this, Congress demonstrated power across the country. The date of summons issued to Sonia for questioning in the money laundering case was extended by a day to July 26. Officials said that instead of Monday, July 25, Sonia Gandhi has to appear before the ED on Tuesday. The probe pertains to alleged financial irregularities in Congress-promoted Young Indian Pvt Ltd, which owns the National Herald newspaper.
