NDA Parliamentary Party Meeting On Tuesday, PM Modi Likely To Speak

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address the National Democratic Alliance's (NDA) parliamentary party meeting on Tuesday, marking his first speech to the MPs of the ruling coalition during the first session of Parliament since beginning his third term in office.

Although Modi has previously addressed NDA MPs on a few occasions, especially when elected as their leader before each of his three terms, he typically speaks at meetings of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MPs during parliamentary sessions.

PTI cited a report from official sources stating that all BJP and allied MPs have been notified and are expected to attend Tuesday's meeting.

This meeting is significant as, for the first time since 2014, the BJP has lost its majority in the Lok Sabha and now relies on its allies to maintain the government.
