Amit Shah To Inaugurate Light And Sound Show 'Jai Hind' At Red Fort


Officials said that on Tuesday, a new light and sound show that combines art and cutting-edge technology will open at the historic Red Fort. It will tell the story of India through the ages, reported PTI.


They stated that the chief guest at the event, which will also include Union Culture and Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy, is slated to be Union Home Minister Amit Shah.


"The show will be of another class and will fuse cutting-edge technology with art and live performances giving the audience a spectacular experience. It will tell the story of India and its wealth of cultural heritage through the ages," an official source said.


He stated that the show will take place at a location close to the 17th-century monument known as the "Naubat Khana."


Red Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that was built by Emperor Shah Jahan.


In 2018, the cement manufacturing company Dalmia Bharat Limited was selected as a "Monument Mitra" to adopt and develop the Red Fort's tourist amenities.


Delhi Air Pollution: Ban On Plying Of BS-III Petrol, BS-IV Diesel Vehicles From Tuesday


Due to worsening air quality in the national capital, the Delhi government on Monday imposed a temporary ban on plying of BS-III petrol and BS-IV diesel four-wheelers from Tuesday, PTI reported. Delhi's air quality dipped to "severe" category on Monday.


"The ban on BS-III petrol and BS-IV diesel vehicles will kick in from Tuesday since the air quality has deteriorated in the severe category. We are monitoring the situation along with the Environment department. For now, the ban is likely to be in place till Friday," a senior Transport department official told PTI.


The official also said the ban could be lifted before Friday if the air quality improved.
