PM Modi To Inaugurate Sohna-Dausa Stretch On Feb 4

Traveling time is generally one of the most important factors that people consider while organising their trips.

One of the busiest routes, Delhi-Jaipur, would now be reduced from 5-6 hours to 2 hours via road. According to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the Sohna-Dausa leg of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway on February 4 (Saturday), which would help reduce travel time between Jaipur and Delhi to roughly two hours.

The Delhi-Mumbai expressway, which would connect Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Maharashtra, will cost around Rs 1 lakh crore to build.

It would also increase connection to economic centres like Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, Kishangarh, Ajmer, Kota, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, Bhopal, Ujjain, Indore, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, and Surat, bringing economic wealth to millions of people.

The distance between Delhi and Jaipur is 270 kilometres. The famed Delhi-Mumbai Expressway's first segment goes from Sohna in Haryana to Dausa in Rajasthan.
