A phone call from an unidentified man, threatening to blow up the Ram Janmabhoomi complex, was received by an Ayodhya resident, police said on Thursday. Station House Officer (SHO) of the Ram Janmabhoomi police station Sanjiv Kumar Singh said they have registered a case and are conducting an enquiry, reported PTI.

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia called the Union Budget 2023-24 a "jumla" and added that it would only immerse the country in while labelling it as "dangerous for the country".

Kerala Journalist Siddique Kappan To Be Released From Lucknow Prison Tomorrow
Journalist Siddique Kappan from Kerala was granted bail by the Allahabad High Court one month before, and on Wednesday, a sessions court in Lucknow approved his release on bail, according to Live Law. Kappan will be released from custody by Thursday.
On December 24, 2022, the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court granted Kappan bail in a money laundering case brought by the Enforcement Directorate, more than two years after he was detained by the Uttar Pradesh Police while travelling to the Hathras home of a young Dalit woman who had allegedly been gangraped and died.
In contrast to what the police said, Kappan's attorneys claimed that he intended to report on the gangrape occurrence.
After being detained by the Uttar Pradesh Police for alleged affiliations to the extremist Popular Front of India, which the Centre had on September 28 proscribed, Kappan was granted bail by the Supreme Court on September 9 of last year in a case under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
Assam To Host Financial Working Group Meeting Under G20 On Feb 2 & 3
The Sustainable Financial Working Group meeting, which is Assam's first G20 meeting, is set to take place on February 2 and 3.
Adil Khan, the G20's Assam Nodal Officer, said it was an honour for Assam to be selected to host five G20 meetings.
"It's a privilege for Assam to have been chosen to host 5 G20 events. The first meeting, which is the Sustainable Financial Working Group meeting, is scheduled on February 2 and 3. Delegates have started arriving. All arrangements have beeb made," Khan was quoted by ANI in its report.
He stated that during their stay, the delegates would get a taste of the state's cultural history and that all meals will include Assamese cuisine and millet because it is the International Year of Millet.
