Follow ABP Live's blog to get the latest developments, breaking news, latest updates, and other developing stories across the country and abroad.PM Modi In Chennai And Hyderabad Today, To Flag Off Two Vande Bharat TrainsPrime Minister Narendra Modi has a jam-packed schedule on Saturday as he will inaugurate a host of developmental projects and flag off two Vande Bharat Express trains in Chennai and Hyderabad. PM Modi's first stop will be Hyderabad in Telangana at 11.45 am, where he will inaugurate and lay foundation stone of projects worth over Rs 11,300 crore besides flagging off the Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express.Modi will also participate in a public meeting at Parade Ground in Hyderabad, PTI reported.The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of AIIMS Bibinagar and five National Highway projects, worth more than Rs. 7,850 crore. AIIMS Bibinagar is being developed at the cost of more than Rs. 1,350 crore.He will also lay the foundation stone of redevelopment of Secunderabad Railway Station, which will be done at a cost of Rs 720 crore.The Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express is the second Vande Bharat train to be started from Telangana within three months. The train will reduce the travel time between the two cities by almost three and half hours and will be particularly beneficial for pilgrims visiting the Lord Venkateswara temple.Karnataka Polls 2023: BJP To Finalise Candidates TodayKarnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai announced on Friday that the BJP's State Election Committee has listed three names per constituency for the Assembly elections on May 10, and that the party's Parliamentary Board will meet in New Delhi on April 8 to discuss and finalise the list of candidates, news agency PTI reported.This evening, the Chief Minister will depart for New Delhi."Tomorrow our Parliamentary Board meeting will take place there (in Delhi). After discussions tomorrow (on candidates) the Parliamentary Board will finalise," Bommai was quoted by PTI in its report.Speaking to media, he stated: "Opinions have been gathered from constituency and district level, after which the State Election Committee has shortlisted three names (per constituency).. it will be discussed and finalised by the Parliamentary Board in Delhi." Ticket aspirants are waiting for the BJP to announce the list of candidates, with election date approaching.

A Delhi police head constable shot himself dead early morning on Saturday, reported ANI citing Delhi police.

"Today, at about 6:25 am, a PCR call was received at PS Civil Line that In-charge of a PCR Van in PS Civil Lines, HC Imran Mohammed has shot himself with his official weapon. Immediately, he was shifted to Bara Hindu Rao Hospital, where he was declared as brought dead," the police said.

The official added, "The incident took place at around 6 am on Bela Road, near Chandgi Ram Akhara. The deceased shot himself when the PCR  driver (his colleague) CT Atul Bhati went for nature's call. The District Crime Team has been called to inspect the incident."
