Amit Shah To Begin 2-Day Visit To Arunachal Pradesh On May 21During his two-day visit to Arunachal Pradesh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate a number of development projects.Officials announced on Friday that he will lay the groundwork for a 51-foot monument of sage Parshuram in Wakro, Lohit district, in addition to launching over 40 projects.On Saturday, Shah will attend the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Ramakrishna Mission School in Narottam Nagar, Deomali, Tirap district, before travelling to Namsai to lay the foundation for the Parshuram monument.On Sunday, he will meet with social organisations and do puja at the Golden Pagoda in Namsai district, near Tengapani.Later, Shah will address a public assembly on Namsai general ground and unveil major projects, according to authorities. Through this program, we will usher in a new revolution as the beginning of connecting India,” IYC national president Srinivas BV said.OBC Mahasabha Calls For 'MP Bandh' On May 21An organisation representing the other backward classes (OBCs) in Madhya Pradesh called for a State-wide 'bandh' on May 21 to stress its demand for 27 percent quota in local body elections.The Pichhada Varg Mahasabha issued this call three days after the Supreme Court directed the State Election Commission (SEC) to notify local body polls in Madhya Pradesh within two weeks without quota for OBCs, observing that no such reservation can be made until the triple test exercise, mentioned in a Constitution bench verdict in 2010, is completed in all respects.NEET PG 2022 Exam To Be Held On May 21NEET PG 2022, the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test, will be held tomorrow, May 21, 2022. "This is a complex and sensitive matter. We think that the suit should be heard by a district judge instead of a trial judge. Because better if a more seasoned hand hears it," the Supreme Court said, PTI reported. Stating the “need for fraternity between communities and need for peace is topmost” for the court, Justice Chandrachud said: “We need a sense of balance and calm on the ground.”“We need a degree of healing touch.
