Allahabad HC To Hear Pleas Against Adipurush On Tuesday
On Tuesday, the Allahabad High Court will hear appeals against the Adipurush film.
On Monday, the high court's Lucknow bench granted the petitioner's amending motion, which highlighted many objections to the film.
The bench will consider the petitioner's appeal to include the movie's dialogue writer, Manoj Muntashir, as a party in the petition. The ruling was issued by Justices Rajesh Singh Chauhan and Shree Prakash Singh in response to a PIL filed before to the film's release.
The bench issued a notice to the Central Board of Film Certification while hearing the PIL on January 10.
In the meantime, another PIL has been filed seeking a ban on the film. The hearing for Naveen Dhawan's petition is also scheduled for Tuesday.
Adipurush, a reworking of the epic Ramayana, has been criticised for its dialogue, colloquial language, and portrayal of various characters.
MHA To Hold Final Security Review For Amarnath Yatra On Tuesday
According to official sources, the Union Home Ministry will conduct a final security review of the upcoming Amarnath Yatra in Jammu and Kashmir with all stakeholders on Tuesday.
The meeting will be place at the North Block of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and will be presided over by Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla. According to reports, the conference would be attended by the chiefs of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) like as the CRPF, BSF, and ITBP, as well as senior officials from intelligence, the Army, the Jammu and Kashmir government, and the Amarnath shrine board.
The 62-day yearly pilgrimage is set to begin on July 1 and end on August 31.
