The Special Investigating Team (SIT) of Mumbai cyber cell, which is investigating the Rs 15,000 crore Mahadev App online betting case, has sent summons to actor Sahil Khan and three others to appear before the SIT on Friday, ANI reported.

Indian Coast Guard successfully evacuated an injured Philippine national from merchant vessel MV Green K-MAX 2 sailing about 28 km from Visakhapatnam earlier today. ICG Maritime Rescue Sub-Centre (MRSC) at Visakhapatnam had received information from the merchant ship about the crew who had suffered severe injury and fracture while working in engine room. After evacuation, he was examined by the medical officer onboard ICG ship and administered first aid. Thereafter, the patient was brought by ICG to Visakhapatnam and handed over to the shipping agent for further medical management, ANI reported.

Andhra Pradesh: Fire broke out on the second floor of Indus Hospitals in Visakhapatnam. Fire tenders are present at the spot. All patients have been evacuated safely.
Commissioner of Police (CP) Ravi Shankar Ayyanar says, "A fire broke out at Indus Hospital in Visakhapatnam around 12 noon. There were around 50-70 patients there. We have evacuated all of them. There is no one there. There is no loss of life...The cause of the fire appears to be from the operation theatre... we will investigate and find out the truth."

As many as six Indian fishermen from Tamil Nadu, who were fishing in international waters, were detained by the Sri Lankan Navy along with their trawler, near the Kankesanthurai area in Sri Lanka. Vishnu Deo Sai-Led Govt In Chhattisgarh To Hold First Cabinet Meet Today
The first cabinet meeting of the newly-formed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Chhattisgarh will take place on Thursday, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said.
Sai was sworn in as chief minister on Wednesday, while two party MLAs Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma took oath as deputy chief ministers.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Union ministers Nitin Gadkari and Ramdas Athawale, BJP president J P Nadda, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, his Assam counterpart Himanta Biswa Sarma, former Chhattisgarh chief minister Raman Singh and party leaders from other states attended the swearing-in ceremony that saw a massive gathering of around 50,000 people. The event was held at the Science College ground here.
After the ceremony, Sai and his two deputies went to the Mantralaya and took charge after performing rituals. The three held talks with state chief secretary Amitabh Jain and Director General of Police Ashok Juneja there. Talking to reporters, Sai said his first cabinet meeting will be held on Thursday.
Telangana Assembly Speaker Election Today
The election for the post of Telangana Assembly Speaker will be held on December 14 and the nominations will be accepted between 10:30 AM and 5 PM on December 13.
According to a notification issued by the secretary of the state legislature, the election for Assembly Speaker will be held on Monday.
The notification comes days after newly elected BJP MLAs stayed away from the House alleging that AIMIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi's appointment as pro-tem speaker was in violation of rules.
Owaisi had administered oath of office to newly elected MLAs on December 9.
The Congress party won 64 seats in the recently concluded assembly polls and its ally CPI won one seat. BRS won 39 seats while its "friendly party" AIMIM was victorious in seven seats. BJP won eight seats.
