The child succumbed to injuries on the way to the medical college, he said. The woman was detained and the body of the deceased sent for a post-mortem examination, police said.

India-Made Satellite To Launch On SpaceX Falcon 9 On June 13
Azista BST Aerospace will launch the ABA First Runner (AFR) satellite aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket during the Transporter 8 Mission at 02:49 AM IST on June 13, 2023, as part of its vision to mass manufacture satellites in India with a global market focus.
The AFR is an 80kg spacecraft built on a modular bus chassis that houses an optical remote sensing payload with a wide-swath capability that can image in both panchromatic and multispectral modes. AFR is a ground-breaking feat since a satellite of its size and capability has never been manufactured by India's private space sector. It is capable of facilitating a wide range of critical applications for both civilian and defence purposes.
"The launch of AFR marks an exciting beginning to support the realization of satellite constellations for various applications. Our factory in Ahmedabad is already geared up to produce 10 of these satellites in 2024. We are grateful for the support from the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), the Indian National Space Authorization Center (IN-SPACe), and the Indian Space Association (ISpA) to help us achieve this major milestone," Azista BST Aerospace managing director Srinivas Reddy Male said.
PM Modi To Distribute 70,000 Appointment Letters To Recruits On June 13
An official said on Monday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will present about 70,000 appointment letters to newly enrolled personnel via video conference on Tuesday.
On this occasion, he will also address these appointments.
The "Rozgar Mela" will take place in 43 different cities across the country.
The new recruits will join the government in a variety of areas, including financial services, posts, defence, school education, higher education, revenue, and health, among others.
Recruitment is taking conducted in both central government agencies and state governments.
