A thief of jewel and other stolen property has been arrested by the IGI team, putting an end to the ongoing aircraft heists. A huge stash of stolen jewellery has been recovered, the DCP Airport said.
Two persons were killed when their fishing boat was allegedly struck by a ship off the Kerala coast in the early hours of Monday in Malappuram. Prime Minister Modi will visit Varanasi on May 13, the city is all decked up he will hold a massive roadshow, ahead of his filing nomination papers for a third term from Varanasi.
PM Modi will hold a roadshow amid shehnai tunes, the blowing of conch shells, the beating of drums, and the chanting of mantras, lending to the occasion a festive atmosphere in the middle of the Lok Sabha election campaign. The 5-km roadshow will begin from the intersection at the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) gate, where the Prime Minister will garland a statue of BHU founder 'Mahamana' Pt Madan Mohan Malviya and conclude at the Gate Number 4 of the Kashi Vishwanath Dham.
At 11:40 am, the prime minister will file his nomination papers.
Delhi CM Kejriwal Will Meet AAP Councillors On May 13
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will hold a meeting with AAP councillors on Monday. As per PTI, on Sunday, he met party MLAs and praised them for not breaking down despite the BJP's efforts after his arrest.
Kejriwal said AAP "became more united instead of breaking apart" after his arrest.
"He will hold a meeting with the AAP councillors at the party office in Rouse Avenue on Monday," the party said, according to PTI.
The AAP chief, who was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in a money-laundering case linked to the alleged excise policy scam, was granted interim bail by the Supreme Court on Friday.
On Sunday, AAP's national convenor Arvind Kejriwal made a fervent appeal to people to press the broom (AAP's election symbol) button on May 25.
Kejriwal during a roadshow in Delhi said if people choose the Aam Aadmi Party on May 25, he won't have to go back to jail. Kejriwal, along with Mann, led two roadshows here in support of party candidates Somnath Bharti and Mahabal Mishra in New Delhi and West Delhi parliamentary constituencies, respectively.
