In Ranaghat Dakshin Assembly constituency, TMC is leading after six round of vote counting. The Mamata Banerjee-led party is also marching ahead in Bagdah and Maniktala assembly constituencies after the sixth round of counting.
Speaking on the results of the Jalandhar West Assembly seat bypolls, AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj has said that the people of Punjab are with the Aam Aadmi Party, and they have taught the cheaters a lesson. On the decision to give more power to the Lt. Governor of J&K, the Delhi Minister said that this is an illegal decision and the BJP never allows an elected government to function properly.
The AAP candidate Mohinder Bhagat won assembly bypolls from the Jalandhar West Seat. He secured 55246 votes. He defeated the BJP's Sheetal Angural who secured 17,921 votes.
In Punjab bypolls, AAP candidate Mohinder Bhagat is leading by around 13,000 votes from Jalandhar West after six rounds of counting.
In the Himachal Pradesh Assembly Bypolls, Himachal CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu is leading in Dehra. She is followed by BJP candidate Hoshiar Singh after five rounds of counting.
In Hamirpur, Congress candidate Pushpinder is leading by 67 votes after 5 rounds, and as far as Nalagarh is concerned, Congress candidate Bawa Hardeep Singh leads by 1571 votes in Nalagarh after two rounds.

The assembly constituencies that went to the polls were Raiganj, Ranaghat Dakshin, Bagda, and Maniktala (West Bengal); Dehra, Hamirpur, and Nalagarh (Himachal Pradesh); Badrinath and Manglaur (Uttarakhand); Jalandhar West (Punjab); Rupauli (Bihar); Vikravandi (Tamil Nadu); and Amarwara (Madhya Pradesh).
Maharashtra: Pune Rural Police has registered an FIR against Manoram Khedkar, Dilip Khedkar, parents of trainee IAS officer Pooja Khedkar and 5 others. The FIR was filed last night at Paud police station based on the complaint of a local farmer who alleged that he was threatened by Manoram Khedkar. The FIR has been filed under sections 323, 504, 506 of IPC. Charges under the Arms Act have also been included: Manoj Yadav, Senior Police Inspector, Paud Police Station.
Fatehpur, UP: A 24-year-old man bitten by a snake for the 7th time in 40 days.
CMO Rajiv Nayan Giri says, "... The victim came to the Collectorate and cried that he had spent a lot of money to cure the snake bite and now he requested for financial help from the authorities. I advised him to visit a government-run hospital where he could get anti-snake venom free of cost... We still need to figure out if it is actually a snake that's biting him. We also need to see the competence of the doctor who is treating him... A person being bitten by a snake every Saturday and that person being admitted to the same hospital every time, and recovering in just one day seems strange. This is why we thought of forming a team to investigate the case, after which I will tell the people the truth of the matter."
J&K: Residents face problems after the roads get damaged due to rain, in Udhampur.
The Munak Canal breach that led to flooding in the Bawana area and impacted the water supply in different parts of the city has been fixed, the Delhi government said on Friday. In a statement issued late night, it said water is likely to reach the Dwarka plant by Saturday morning. Residents of the area have been grappling with water shortage since the breach in one of the sub-branches of the canal, which supplies water from Haryana to Delhi, late Wednesday.
Delhi Water Minister Atishi said, "The embankment was breached at the Bawana entry point. A 7-metre-wide and 15-metre-long soil embankment has been built now. Its compression has also been done.The concrete lining work is on... It takes about five to six hours for the concrete to set. We are expecting that Haryana will release water in Munak Canal at around 7 am tomorrow."
A senior Hamas commander involved in masterminding the October 7 attack against Israel was killed in a recent Israeli airstrike on Gaza City, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said. The IDF said on Friday in a statement that the slain, named Ayman Showadeh, was a deputy commander of Hamas' Shejaiya Battalion in the current conflict and formerly a key operative in Hamas' operations headquarters. Showadeh had directed numerous attacks against IDF troops, according to the statement.

Bypoll Results For 13 Assembly Constituencies Across 7 States Today
The results for 13 assembly constituencies across seven states are set to be announced today following bypolls held on Wednesday. These by-elections witnessed moderate to high voter turnout, despite sporadic incidents of violence in Uttarakhand, Bihar, and West Bengal. Voting was conducted from 7 am to 6 pm.
According to the Voter Turnout app of the Election Commission (EC), Tamil Nadu's Vikravandi assembly seat registered the highest polling percentage among the 13 constituencies, while Uttarakhand's Badrinath seat saw the lowest turnout. This electoral exercise, the first since the Lok Sabha elections, will determine the fate of several veterans and newcomers, including Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu's wife, Kamlesh Thakur.
Despite some incidents of violence in Bihar, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal, the polling process was largely peaceful. In Uttarakhand's Manglaur constituency, a clash between supporters of rival parties at a polling booth resulted in injuries to four individuals.
PM Modi To Visit Mumbai, Dedicate Projects Worth Rs 29,400 Crore
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Mumbai on Saturday to either launch or dedicate several projects totaling approximately ₹29,400 crore, according to an official announcement from the Prime Minister's Office.
According to ANI, he is expected to arrive at the NESCO Exhibition Centre in Goregaon around 5:30 PM, where he will also inaugurate various initiatives in the road, railway, and port sectors.
Puri Jagannath Temple Ratna Bhandar Reopening Decision: Minister
Odisha Law Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan announced that the state government will make a decision on the reopening of the Ratna Bhandar (treasury) of the Lord Jagannath temple in Puri on Saturday.
The treasury was last opened 46 years ago in 1978, and its reopening became a significant political issue during the recent Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. The BJP had pledged to reopen the treasury for inventory purposes if elected in Odisha.
"The state government is reviewing the legal and procedural aspects of the SOPs suggested by the temple managing committee. A decision will be announced on Saturday," the law minister stated, PTI reported.
The administration of the Lord Jagannath temple is managed by the law department of the state government.
