US, India Shouldn’t Impede Defence Cooperation Due To Delhi’s Russia Legacy: USIBC

New Delhi: Defence cooperation between India and the US has the potential to create “real deterrence”, and the two sides should not let impediments come in the way of this growing relationship even as New Delhi continues to follow a policy of strategic autonomy when it comes to balancing its ties with Washington and Moscow, said Atul Keshap, president, US-India Business Council (USIBC) at the US Chamber of Commerce.
