Russian Oil Price Cap: The US Treasury Department Thursday said Washington will make it more difficult for Russia to finance its war against Ukraine by “forcing” to sell its crude at a cheaper price thereby continuing to extract its natural resources. This was told by a US Treasury Department delegation comprising Anna Morris, Assistant Secretary for Terrorist Financing and Financial Crimes and Eric Van Nostrand, Assistant Secretary for Economic Policy of the US Department of
