Exclusive | India, Iran 10-Yr Chabahar Deal May Invite US Sanctions As Washington Sees It As ‘New Deal’

New Delhi and Tehran signed a 10-year contract Monday in an effort to take the Chabahar Port project forward. The earlier contract was exempted from US sanctions by the Donald Trump administration.

India and Iran on Monday signed a 10-year agreement to operate and manage the Chabahar Port, and also to develop the next phase of the project by way of mega connectivity plans.
