My dream was to inspire other girls to play," Rani Rampal, former captain of the Indian women's hockey team, tells ABP India At 2047 Summit Live.
"I got to see the change I wanted to bring," she remarked, highlighting poverty and gender as her challenges.
Former Cricketer Mithali Raj reveals she wanted to be a dancer and said, "My brother would go for training at 6 AM, and when I saw him play I developed a desire to play cricket. But my father said, 'Cricket is only for boys, it's not for girls.' My brother's coach saw my potential. He advised that he invest in me, as he saw the potential in me to play for India."

"We are ready, as it is important to know what implications are for us and for our neighbor... In a full-fledged war situation, they (Pakistan) will be in trouble," Lt. Gen. Devendra Pratap Pandey remarks as he stresses preparation and timing against hurried action.

Its output is greater than that of wheat, rice, and oilseeds. But because of the cooperative sector, milk became the biggest product," he said.
Lakhpati Didis Vaishaliben and Ramilaben Parmar explained how they managed to become a 'lakhpati'.
Drone didi Sunita Sharma from Madhya Pradesh and Jaswinder Kaur from Punjab shared about their challenging journey and how they received support from their families to achieve their dreams. Kaur shared how she completed the training, but she never lost hope despite the difficulties. "People used to make fun of me but I was determined," she said.
Vikram Sampat said, "In history books, we are taught about the wars we lost but we are not told about the wars we won. There is very little mention in the books about how many wars we won."
When asked if he would erase anything from Indian history, Vikram Sampath said that he does not agree to chapters on the Delhi Sultanate and Mughals being removed from NCERT books. "We cannot wish away our past...people should know everything. They need to know what Tipu Sultan and Aurangzeb did..."
