Troops Deployment Will Continue Unless Status Quo Ante Achieved With China: Army Chief Gen Pande

Army Chief Gen. Manoj Pande Thursday said situation at India-China border is 'stable but sensitive' even as troops deployment continue. He also spoke about recent surge in terror attacks in Jammu.

New Delhi: The Indian Army will continue with heavy deployment of troops at the Line of Actual Control (LAC) unless the status quo that existed till the middle of 2020 is achieved between India and China, Army Chief General Manoj Pande said Thursday.
