The Madras High Court asked the Tamil Nadu government to install boards at all Hindu temples stating non-Hindus were not allowed beyond the 'Kodimaram' area. Here's why such order was passed:

The Madras High Court on Tuesday directed the Tamil Nadu government to re-install boards saying that 'non-Hindus are not allowed' at the famous Lord Murugan temple that is located in Palani in Dindigul district. The court further said that this should be implied to all temples within Tamil Nadu.
