Recently, a retired doctor moved the Kerala High Court seeking a custodian for her living will after she found out that no such officer was nominated by the local authorities. She has told the court that she suffered a stroke in 2023 after which her mobility was significantly restricted. The woman drafted her living will with directions about the medical treatment to be administered to her in case she becomes terminally ill. However, after she filed an RTI, she found out that authorities
